MY STORY

It was August 1992 and I found myself in absolutely my worst ever financial position. I was living in a one bedroom flat, with my two children. Leigh my son  who was 7 years old and my daughter Linzi who was 5 years old. I had shared custody of the children at the time with their father, Alan, mainly due to my financial situation. I could not afford to keep them. When it was my turn to have the children, they  used to have to sleep on the floor with sleeping bags.  I had no money to treat them to even simple things like a packet of sweets.

I was driving a B registration sierra, when I started with Kleeneze.  It had been broken into so often that you had to use a screwdriver to start it. There was a small round hole on the driver's door where the lock used to be.

Me and my partner at the time were looking to go into business. We had both been involved in direct sales for some time. We were looking for our own business. We wanted something that we could work hard at and build up, so that if we took time off, were ill or retired the money would keep coming in. We were looking for a residual income, although I didn't know that at the time.

We had a little cash in the bank from two old cars we had sold and we had intended to use this money to pay the bills until we got our business off the ground. We worked for hours on a business plan, only to be rejected over and over again by the bank.   We were hoping they would help us fund it. Things became desperate, the little money we had was running out. I started to pawn our jewellery and anything else of value, which I am afraid was not that much.

At our worst point we even ran out of food! It was at that time we found Kleeneze. I didn't see the potential right away, and although we joined in August 1992,  and introduced a few people to the business. (We borrowed the money for a business kit).  It wasn't until February 1993, when we ran out of food, that we actually got started. I was desperate for the instant cash.  With the catalogues alone in our first three weeks we generated £2,500 in sales plus £1,000 from our newest team members making a total of £3,500 in group sales.  All we did was put the catalogues through letterboxes in our area and simply picked up the orders and started teaching others to do the same. In our first three weeks we earned  £525.00.  We had immediately started to speak to everyone about the fantastic opportunity we had found. Within seven weeks our team had grown and in our second month our turnover had increased to £10,000 and we earned almost £2,000.

All we had done was put out catalogues in our own area and spoke to everyone we met, knew or bumped into (deliberately) about this fantastic business opportunity we had joined. We also immediately started to study the Industry we were involved in and put on trainings for our new team.

In our first year we turned over a million pound in team sales and had reached the level of what is now called SED Senior Executive Distributor. We earned over £41,000 in our first year. At this point we were earning around £4,000 every four weeks.

Sixteen years on I own a £300,000 house in an exclusive area. I now also have two other properties currently valued at £220,000. I drive a Mercedes CLK Convertible on the 1st of September last year. I can holiday when I want, where I want, which is normally a few times a year. I am planning on buying property abroad in all my favourite places, and I want to see the world. I basically own my own life. More importantly it is a residual income that just keeps growing.

I have had my story told by many newspapers. The Scottish Daily Record, Womans Own, The Mirror, The Express, Marie Clare Magazine and have even been on TV BBC2 with Esther Ranzen telling my story.

The best thing is the effect it has had on my two beautiful children. They are happy, well balanced, now teenagers. They are ambitious and smart. My son Leigh is in the business and earns approximately £600.00 per month, part time and he is only 20. That is set to double in the next few months. My daughter is 18  and was top of her class in Philosophy and received Prize from the school. She plans to go on to University next year. I couldn't be prouder.

Twelve years ago the future looked bleak, I was a single parent of two children with no hope for the future. Now thanks to Kleeneze, not only are my dreams coming true, but my children's' prospects for the future are amazing. Although jointly business partner  and I have earned over two million pounds so far from Kleeneze. I cannot put a value on the priceless education and solid start it has given my children.
